Natasha Andrade

 

Natasha Andrade, masters student in the Environmental Engineering program, won the first place in the National Student Paper Competition Masters Category from Water Environment Federation (WEF). WEF is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization that aims to preserve and enhance the global water environment. Natasha entered the national contest after she won first place on the regional student paper competition hosted by the Chesapeake Water Environment Association (CWEA). The paper is regarding the presence of polybrominated diphenyl ethers in biosolids and soil from commercial farms that receive biosolids application. She will be presenting a poster and will receive the award at the annual national meeting (WEFTEC), which will be held in Chicago.
