J. Carlos Santamarina is G. Wayne Clough Chair and Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he directs the Energy GeoScience and Engineering Laboratory. In addition to Georgia Tech, he has taught at New York University-Polytechnic, the University of Waterloo, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. His research interests include processes involving sediments, fractured rocks, and complex fluids.
